Thank you for visiting the KOOL Fun Oldies Web Site. We would love it if you would Add to this guestbook we are keeping!
Never heard of you even though I went to Phoenix once, but I think I'd sure like to. Sounds like you have a great oldies thing going. I had a good one in Victoria B.C. that I used to be able to get, but they changed to neswradio, Drat! Stuck with playing the tunes at home and trying to build up my library of them. Will look for you if and when I am in your area. Keep it up!

I love KOOL! I have a ten year old daughter and it's great having a radio station where I don't have to worry about the DJ's language or inappropriate comments. They are just plain fun. And the best part is my daughter is loving the Beattles, Elvis, Stevie, Dianah and the rest...

i have been listening to KOOL since the BJ Hunter days and all i can say is that every time your morning show does great in the ratings, it seems you have to change the line up! don't you people believe in consistancy? I know this has been done to death but... WHERE IS SKIPPY!!!

You need to play a better selection of music. You only play like 7 songs of each band. You need to play all the songs the 60's bands did.

I visit SUNNY Phoenix about once a year to visit my family. When I'm there I turn the station to KOOL (after all it is the only station). My brother-in-law listens to some MAJIK station and gets upset when I turn the station. My sister-in-law always takes my side 'cause I'm the visitor!!!! To help me with my case when I come to Phoenix this year I would like to sport a KOOL (xl) t-shirt> What are the chances of you sending me one so that when I exit the plane into that awaiting arms of my family, I can display proudly a real staton!!! Please e-mail me with info on how to get one !! Thank You!! Chris

I am sooooooo tired of "Help Me Rhonda" I could just PUKE! I was "there" when it was first released and I must have heard it at least 3,726 times since then - and most times were not my choice. It's good but it gets Too old just like most of your play list. Please, Please - add to the format. And . . . while we're at it, Where is The Skip-Meister anyhow? OK. I'll admit it. Even with all my Kool complaints I still wake up to you and listen alllllllllll morning. If you could just add a few more of the really good oldies to the play list, I personally would be very very pleased. Thanks. me-kent

Kool Radio is the BEST. You have such a great variety and great personalities for your DJs. Of Course the Breakfast Bunch helps me to start my engine every day. But I ALWAYS tune to Kool when I have to do chores. It really hepls to keep me going. Except once in a while I find myself stopping to dance with one of my slow favorites. Raven

Is he taking extra accordian lessons? Has he eaten too much spam? WHERE IS HE? Last time I went on vacation, Beth had left by the time I returned. I'm beginning to wonder if I should go away anymore! Somebody please give me an answer! Thanks.

To all the Doug's, Chris's, Jeff's, etc. out there. You are stuck with the 300 titles on the play list. The teens that listen (and there are many) have never heard hundreds of TOP 40 hits. Too bad, so sad. Imagine the joy at 15 hearing "Snoopy vs. the Red Baron" for the first time. Or whatever. The management never reads this stuff anyway. Allen (VP) is either computer illiterate or internet ignorant as evidenced by the outdated (oldies jukebox @ ASU last Sept, upcoming Little Richard & Monkees concerts) information. The only updates (all 3) have coincided with upper mgmt. changes. So far, they don't understand the value of website input. If they read this, it likely will be deleted next update. But with a #1 rating and a monopoly on the oldies format don't expect any change unless the demand is overwhelming AND advertisers share your feelings. Send E-mail, letters and maybe even guestbook entries. If you really want variety try listening only 1 day a week. You still get to hear all 300 songs.

Hello KOOL FM! I love listening to your station, and listen every day from 8-5. There is one thing I have been quite surprised about: I listened to NPR/KJZZ for quite awhile and was going to write them to tell Ken Smith to lighten up...he seemed so down. Then I turned to KOOL and there he was laughing and carrying on...it must be the music!! I love it. Keep up the good work. ME

Since you are number 1 in the Arbitron ratings, my comments will not mean much to you, but I wish you would have a little more variety on your play list. There are hundreds of other great songs that could be included without damaging your ratings at all. In fact, it may even help you to stay on top. Yes, you guys are good, but you could be better!

Since you guys are #1 in Arbitron ratings, my comments will not mean much to you, but I wish you would play a little more variety. There are hundreds of other great songs from the 60's, 70's, and 80's than the same ones you recycle every day, and I do not think that playing a few different records would hurt you in the ratings at all. In fact, it may even help to keep you on top! Yes, you are the best in Phoenix, but you could be even better!

Hello, my name is Jason Baird, and I am currently starting a sticker collection from radio stations around the good ol' US of A, and around the world. Sooo, I got the idea of e-mailing each station (which had a website). Which has worked wonderfully, and I have recieved many letters from around the country and the world. And so, that's why you are getting this message. And hopefully, you'll think about what I said, and tell me how I can get a sticker! (Or you can just send me one if you want to!) :-) Thank you for your time; I know it is precious, Jason Baird 7807 Weedsport/Sennett Rd. Sennett, NY 13021, United States of America wizard@baldcom.net

I listen to kool at work from 9:00 PM until 5:00 AM and I am very pleased with the music starting at 12:00AM. I just want to know why do you have Ellsa on this great station. She is the worst DJ that I have ever had to listen to. When she mention that one of the Four Tops had died she laughed, please keep her from talking so much. P.S. I think she should go back to school and learn how to be a real DJ. She gives women DJ a bad name.

Danny you are the best, you get along with everyone and just have a great personality. Keep up the wonderful Job! Where I work they do not allow me access to "expensive" office equipment like that. Stay KOOL everybody!!!!:-)

Please STOP playing Johnny Rivers, Neil Diamond, and The Buckinghams. They don't deserve to be played on oldies radio. The radio station in Los Angeles (K*Earth 101 FM nice web site.) plays songs from the 50's. You should play songs from the 50's as well. Stop playing rap music behind the DJ's voices. This is an oldies station, not a rap station! If you made these changes, you might be better. THE BEATLES RULE!

I think this station could use some improvement. STOP PLAYING JOHNNY RIVERS AND NEIL DIAMOND!!!! They don't deserve to be played on oldies radio. The station in Los Angeles (K*Earth 101.1 Fm) is a bit better because they don't play the same songs over and over like KOOL. If you would play more music from the 50's, and not play rap music behind the dj's, you would be a lot better. Otherwise you are a good station. THE BEATLES RULE! Play 4 songs at the fab four at four.

i love the oldies but...of all the thousands of songs available, why do you play exactly the same songs, everyday? don't you have someone to devote to a little originality? for someone that listens to you alot, this gets kind of stale and ruins the feel of hearing a favorite oldie that you haven't heard in awhile.

Hello to everybody. I am an Oldies fun from Greece !!! I like this web site, but unfortunately I cannot say the same for your station because I've never listened to it. But as I was checking this guestbook I noticed a few complains about playing more 60's and 70's than 50's. Well, I don't know why, but all the funs worldwide have the same problem. But don't worry guys: J U S T K E E P R O C K I N G ! ! !

I listen to your raido station everyday form wake-up to sleep. I am a HUGE oldies fan and one of my favorite singers Ritchie Valens, i know every little thing about him. I want to make a quick suggestion.....I want to know if you could play more 1950's songs, you mosly play 1960's and alittle 1970's. If you could do that that would be great. all my friends listen to this station, and i love "Good time oldies magizine." Every night at midnight i request "Puppy love" by Paul Ankia you always say you'll put it on, but you never do. if you guys dont have it please let me know. Have fun E-MAIL me back with your comments if you have time, and stay "Kool" your BIGGEST fan on radio land........... ~Ritchie~

I listen to Kool every chance that I get. I have it set to wake me up in the morning, a radio set next to my computer so I can listen to it when I am working on the computer, I make them set it to Kool at work and I set the radio in my kids room to help them fall asleep at night. Even the cars stereo's are tuned into Kool. We all love to listen to Kool. It gets us through the days and nights. And Thanks Kool for the Tickets to Jurassic Park: The Lost World.

I used to think that Kool-Am was the greatest & was very sorry to see it go off the air. I graduated high school in 1964 and that was the music I listened to. Please play more of the real golden oldies from the late 1950's. It would probably make a lot of the other "baby boomers" happy. Please get rid of that nonsense in the morning called the "breakfast bunch". I never thought stupidity was an asset & that's what they seem to advocate. I stopped listening to your station for quite some time because of them. One morning, when they came on at 6:00 and the first piece of music was at 6:25 I had had enough. I listen to the radio for music & entertainment. Not to listen to 3 people all talking over each other about nothing. Other than that I think your station is the greatest. CJ is excellent & I really enjoy listenig to her.

Hi Guys, I enjoy your music and personalities, especially Danny and Skippy in the AM. I used to live in Denver when Danny was a DJ there, so when he re-lives some of his Colorado memories, I can relate. Once you have lived in Colorado, and move away, there are always memories that constantly nag at you. Please keep up the good times and oldies. By the way Skippy, don't let Danny keep you from playing that accordian! Sounds great!

I have been listening to KOOL for the past 12 years! I originally began listening to KOOL-AM because I really favor the songs from the '50s. Then last year, the AM station turned into a religious (?!) station, so I switched to KOOL-FM. I especially like the Breakfast Bunch. I really wish KOOL-FM would play more of the '50s stuff but even if you don't, I'll still be a KOOL listener! You guys are the greatest and have the BEST radio station in the Valley.

I moved here two years ago, and I think you have a great station The "Breakfast Bunch" are really great and the time flys by while you're sitting in traffic going to work. Especially Skippy, He's nuts! I have a six year old niece that loves to copy Skippy when he used to say "Skippy's word of wisdom, ugh!" Anyways, keep up the good work and keep playing those oldies we all love!

My four grand daughter loves KOOL too! In fact if I have a CD playing or if I have a satelite music channel on she will ask me to put KOOL on. Up until recently she had a hard time saying KOOL 94.5. Love your station.

Besides the best selection of "KOOL" music around, your staff is nothing short of pure, exciting entertainment....from the familiar voices shooting out over the airwaves to all the "silent" folks who keep them there......keep up the great work and let the hits just keep on comin'!

Hey guys. Well last time I signed this thing, I got a friend out of it. So I figured I'd sign again (especially since my message isn't up here anymore). You guys have the best DJ's in radio. I listen all the time. Maybe a little too much (there is such a thing as too much of a good thing I suppose). Keep up the good work. I'll miss you Patrick Lee (or is it Leigh?).

HI DE HO Neighbors. I have listened to KOOL since 1972 and have never been happier with the Music you are playing. I'm glad you have really settled into oldies full time. When I want to feel happy I tune in KOOL FM. I listened to KOOL, when KOOL wasn't cool. I suppose I'll be listening when when I am 100. This stuff never really gets old, I could here this music forever and never get tired of it. How could anyone get tired of something that makes you feel so good inside. Don't ever change. Thanks, Roger .

I do a lot of road-time between Tucson and Phoenix. I used to think your sister station (Cool 92.9) was better, but over the past several of months, your programing has sharply improved! Fired the old program manager? At any rate, keep up the good work and I enjoy listening to 'requests' and the 4@4, 5@5, and 6@6. My only recommendation at this time would be to broaden your playlist to enclude lower ranked top forty hits. I'm sure nearly all your regular listeners are 'goldenologists' in varying degrees and enjoy being jolted with one they haven't heard in a while. P.S. I've a personal request for you. Back in the early 70's, I had a good friend who was a midnight shift DJ for you folks, I remember the massive oldies archive you had. Do you still have all that vinyl? I'd love to be able to access your library for research and I've no doubt that other listeners would enjoy the same. Perhaps it would be a NEAT public service to add to your W3 site!
